Management Team

Thomas  has more than 20 years of experience in the oil, gas and energy sectors globally.  He has led negotiations, and has been a key member of teams, that have delivered a number of globally significant oil and gas projects including the 1.2 TCM Shah Deniz PSA, the 1M bpd BTC oil pipeline, the 10 BCM SCP Pipeline, the 6.2 BCM Shah Deniz Phase 1 gas sales agreement and the 10 BCM TAP gas pipeline. Thomas spent 10 years with BP in the Azerbaijan Business Unit and as Regional Advisor for Africa, Middle East, Caspian, Russia, and Turkey.  Thomas is currently a Senior Advisor with Roland Berger, GmbH and is the author of numerous publications on oil and gas topics.

Florin is a distinguished entrepreneur, having set up and managed various companies in Europe, West Africa and the United States.  Within the Oil sector Florin was Business Development Manager – West Africa for Prospectiuni, a leading geophysical, geological and environmental services company.  Florin previously served as Secretary of State and Chief of Armaments Department within the Romanian Ministry of Defense.  Florin has lived and worked in 5 countries in West Africa and Europe and speaks fluently four languages.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree from USAMVBT Timisoara.

Alan has over 20 years of experience on Wall Street, where he worked on the agency side at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Ladenburg Thalmann and on the principal side at Oracle Partners, Frontpoint Partners, and Argenis Capital. Alan has been responsible for raising over $1 Billion of capital for oil and gas projects in Africa including for Savannah Petroleum and the initial public offering (IPO) for Lekoil, a Nigerian Exploration and Production company, a deal that was nominated as IPO of the Year on London's AIM exchange. Alan has also built an annual African Oil, Gas and Power conference in New York.
